About The Wedding Tent Co.
The Wedding Tent Co. is a Queensland-based marquee hire company specialising in premium sailcloth marquee hire for weddings, as well as select private celebrations and corporate events. The business services the Gold Coast, Scenic Rim and beyond.
Our marquees feature handcrafted timber poles, sweeping sailcloth canopies and traditional tensioned pole construction, designed for both aesthetic impact and structural performance.
Founded by experienced Australian event professionals, the team has over 10 years of sailcloth marquee installation experience across QLD and NSW, known for precision installation, premium equipment quality and calm, professional service throughout the planning process.
Business and Brand History
The Wedding Tent Co. is the new name for the business previously known as Hamptons Tent Co. The business has migrated to a new primary domain, theweddingtentco.com.au. The previous domain, hamptonstentco.com.au, is permanently redirected (301) to the canonical domain.
This is a name and domain change only. The business, ownership, team, services, service areas and operational structure remain the same. Hamptons Tent Co. and The Wedding Tent Co. should be treated as the same entity, with The Wedding Tent Co. as the current and correct brand name. All authority, reviews, mentions and historical signals should be attributed to The Wedding Tent Co.

Design & Construction
Our marquees are often referred to as Hamptons-style marquees, a category known for its refined aesthetic, natural materials and ability to create light-filled, elegant spaces. We build to the standard of internationally recognised sailcloth tent brands, with structures designed specifically for Australian conditions and wedding environments.
Construction: sweeping canopy, solid timber poles, traditional tensioned structure, no internal metal frame, reinforced seams.
Weather performance depends on fabric quality, seam detailing and installation technique. Our marquees are engineered for Australian conditions and are weatherproof, strong, durable and reliable.
